T.C. Lillick’s work explores the relationships and events of our times through studies of the human figure and the objects of their environments.

The paintings and sculpture are executed with an understanding of classic composition and technique merged with a sense of exploration of contemporary materials and mediums.

This fusion of the time honored and the contemporary alluding to Francis Bacon and Francisco Goya has evolved over the forty-year career of the working artist.

I encourage the viewer to closely examine this body of work as it provides avenues for exploration of the human condition without an overbearing opinion.  The work itself allows the observations and interpretations of the viewer to develop the personal message.
