Every day, we as individuals are
photographed and documented more and more. As public availability of our
personal information increases, we must begin to consider our individual
images in a larger framework. Transference is a portrait study of the
individual as defined by public information; specifically incorporating old
and new surveillance and identification techniques.
Yozo Suzuki has a Bachelor’s
degree in Fine Arts from the College of Santa Fe. He has been living and
working as an artist and musician here for the past fourteen years.
